HarperCollins BookTok Book Fair – NeueHouse Hollywood

HarperCollins, in partnership with TikTok Shop, organized the BookTok Book Fair, a creator-focused event held at NeueHouse Hollywood. The gathering targeted BookTok influencers, offering them a space to explore upcoming titles and network with like-minded content creators.

The format resembled a mini book expo with a casual setup—attendees mingled, browsed new releases, and filmed content throughout the venue. The fair featured influencer panels and live showcases, providing creators opportunities to interact with titles and share their experiences on TikTok.

From a photography standpoint, the emphasis was on capturing ambient interaction—not posed promotional shots. Key moments included attendees browsing books, creators filming TikToks, and authors engaging with participants. The natural lighting inside NeueHouse provided an ideal balance for documentary-style imagery without heavy lighting gear.

The event structure—laid-back, content-centric, and community-driven—was the core visual story. It highlighted how publishers are now tapping into creator culture and blending real-world events with digital storytelling dynamics.
